Controlled-use scope

Linear compensation is solution-specific. The 2.0%/°C model is an aqueous estimate near room temperature; use a validated custom coefficient when the procedure or certified material provides one.

Calculation basis

Conductivity is the reciprocal of volume resistivity. For a cell, κ = Kcell/R. Optional linear normalization uses κref = κmeasured/[1 + α(Tmeasured − Tref)]. Composition, temperature range, electrode geometry, frequency, and the validated coefficient remain part of the measurement procedure.
