Privacy

Privacy practices for the Kanonix platform.

This notice explains the information Kanonix Technologies, LLC (Kanonix) processes when you use the website, create an account, purchase access, or save professional records. Last updated September 1, 2026.

Information we process

  • Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, and session information.
  • Billing information: Stripe customer, purchase, subscription, and entitlement status. Kanonix does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
  • Professional records: equipment, calibration history, uncertainty budgets, interval analyses, investigations, uploaded register content, and generated deliverables that you choose to save.
  • Device-local preferences: calculator favorites, recent selections, precision settings, and similar preferences stored in your browser.
  • Operational information: security, request, and error information needed to protect and operate the service.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, provide requested calculations and records, manage purchases and access, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service, and meet legal obligations. Kanonix does not sell personal information.

Service providers

Kanonix uses Supabase for authentication and protected data services, Stripe for checkout and billing, and Vercel for production application hosting. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.

Retention and control

Account and professional records are retained while needed to provide the service and support legitimate operational, security, billing, and legal requirements. Signed-in users can download a structured account export and permanently delete their Kanonix account from Account → Purchases & data. Active subscriptions must be canceled first. Stripe may retain transaction records where legally or operationally required.

Security and appropriate data

Kanonix uses access controls, encrypted transport, server-side entitlement checks, and account-isolated database policies. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not store passwords, secret keys, payment-card data, protected health information, export-controlled information, or records your organization prohibits from external systems.
